“The T-shirt Show”  The Hikurangi Art Station, Hikurangi, Northland from 3 – 30 March 2018

Nearly everyone has worn a T-shirt and most have outgrown one.  T-shirts are often used as a form of branding, advertising or the making of a statement. T-shirt as a sculpture, a painting, a poem or as a second chance? Be part of an installation of lines of hanging t-shirts in the newly opened, artist-run space, The Hikurangi Art Station.

Commission is 30 percent and you pay or arrange for delivery and return of your work to Hikurangi, Northland.

The T-shirt as medium: submit as many as you like and if there’s a particular story, order, composition, let us know. Various submissions will be selected for a blog article and there will be blogs and documentation made available.

The T-shirt as subject matter: indicate what the medium is and provide a link or email images.

Email your idea / plan to sonjavank@gmail.com before 19 Feb 2018 with the following information:

Title, synopsis/concept/story, jpg (no larger than 1 mb) or link to a photograph/similar idea, online, your name, email, address.

Everyone will be emailed by Feb 20th with the address to post these to / and or delivery instructions and works need to arrive at the gallery by Feb 28th. Earlier submissions will receive an earlier response.
